Download of the game

FoS is a freeware. You can freely download the complete version and use the game. It is however forbidden to use this game for a commercial purpose. This interdiction also applies to the rules of the game that are copyright.
The game should run under all version of Windows (but it has not been tested on all version) and has no special requirement except a decent CPU. Once the game is installed, it takes about 160 Mo on the HD.
The current full version is 2.5 (Sept 2011). This version will update itself to the latest patch versions

Download the game
Download the FoSInstall.exe file (160 Mo), which contains the main program, the editors and the modules with about 120 historical battles, 20 fictitious battles and 25 campaigns. An automatic installer will guide you throught the install process.
